Should I move to Monaco and try to avoid USA taxes

Should I move to Monaco and try to avoid USA taxes?
Given, they are only about 15% of my income, but I know millions of legal, but non-citizen residents move out of USA after retiring and receive USA social security payments because they contributed to SS during work in USA. They move to low or no income tax country. Well, I am retired US citizen and only income is small SS and disabled veteran pension total $650 and medium pension from Fed and state civil service. Going broke and wonder if moving out will help. Big question is will I lose pensions if taking a duel citizenship. Maybe not Monaco, but Canada. My mother was Canadian, so I believe I can claim Canadian citizenship. Mostly I have to save paycheck from local, State and Federal taxes w/o losing small income I have or my US citizenship. Any smart people here follow that and have good infomation? Thanks

Problem 1) US Citizens are taxed on their worldwide income whether they live in the US or not. You would have to renounce your US Citizenship and become a citizen of another country. Problem 2) Taxes in the US are LOWER than most other developed countries. By the way, you can not just move to Monaco. They don't allow just anybody in.

you will loose all your benefits

1. Monaco isn't interested in granting you permanent residence status. You need a net worth in excess of around $20 million before they'd consider your application. 2. As a US citizen, you are subject to US taxation on your world-wide income so residing in Monaco won't get you off the hood for US taxes. 3. Surrendering US citizenship solely to avoid US taxes won't get you off the hook for 10 full years. 4. If you want to surrender your citizenship, you'll have to pick some place other than Monaco. While Monaco might grant you permanent residence, citizenship is out of the question. 5. Most other countries -- at least those that you might want to live in -- have higher taxes than the US does so moving there will cost you in the long run. The overall cost of living in most of those countries will be higher as well. 6. Surrendering your citizenship may cost you some of those pension benefits. 7. 15% Federal income tax reverse engineers to over $65,000 per year. Even if you're kicking in 5% on state income taxes, it still crunches to around $50,000 per year. If you're having trouble making ends meet as a single person on that income, try a financial counselor.

Would you support the blatant liars? "Palestinians have no rights"

Would you support the blatant liars? "Palestinians have no rights"?
It´s another slogan used by arabs to make the sentimental Western housewives sob. "Palestinians have no rights", poor souls! Arabs in Gaza live under Hamas rule. Israel does not interfere, and there is not a single Israeli, neither civilian nor military, in Gaza. Gaza lives by its own laws, the main of which is "Kill the Jew". WHICH "rights" should the arabs who live in Gaza have? those of the Israeli citizen? But they are not Israeli citizens. They want to enter Israel? It´s their problem, Israel is free to let them in or not. How "strange": Israel does not grant entrance to its territory to those who officially declared that their goal is the destruction of Israel! I want to go to live to Monaco and to work their as its Prince. But for some reason, Monaco does not free this vacancy for me. Shame to Monaco! Arabs who live in Judea and Samaria: this part of Israel is divided in 3 parts. Area "A", which is under total civilian and military control of Mahmud Abbas and his Fatah gang, Area "B", controlled administratively by Mahmud Abbas but where militar control is carried out by Israel, and Area "C", fully controlled by Israel. The population of the areas "A" and "B" is practicaly all arab. The population of the area "C" is practically all Jewish. What "rights" should the arabs who live in the areas "A" and "B" have? They are not Israeli citizens, they pretend to create their own state, and their official goal, as well as that of Hamas, is to destroy Israel; what "rights" should Israel give to them? To elect the President of Israel? Or maybe to elect the Queen of Great Britian? If arabs want to be autonomous, they can not pretent on having the same rights as the citizens of Israel. Is this simple axioma clear, arabs?

As u said...aRabs in Gaza live under hAmas rule. So those people have no mind of their own. The fact is they cannot even see the whole truth because the media controls what they can see. Only if they go online can they see what the world sees. Even then they will be watched by their own government.

"Is this simple axioma clear, arabs?" Yes it is clear, Jew. But, how about the fact how Gaza is blockaded and surrounded by Israel. And everything is checked that can go in and out. It's like a jail. And all those hour wait check points in the west bank. I understand your reasons for all this squeezing, surrounding and containing them, but it's still not true freedom.

:) Are you joking? Whats happening in Palestine speaks for itself. Your theory is an epic fail, anybody with half a brain knows that gaza does not have the proper freedom to govern itself. What country in the world does not have control over its own borders? Over its own airspace? what country does not have an airport? This whole "hamas controls gaza" is the lie that you tell yourself every night so you can continue to live happily in denial. For a long time, Zionists have been propagating fear based propaganda to their followers, like how the Palestinians want to "push the Jews into the sea" or "calling out for their destruction". It's misleading and unfair to focus on what Palestinians might allegedly do in the future, while the past and present of Palestinians are filled with Israeli war crimes! These types of accusations are meant to deflect and confuse the core issues of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The core issues of the conflict are the collective DISPOSSESSION and ETHNIC CLEANSING (compulsory population transfer) of the Palestinian people for the past five decades. Got it Jew?

Your sneering racist tone is exceeded only by your mendacity - or possibly breathtaking ignorance. And if you're going to make a habit of ranting in English, learn to use Spell Checker. Edit: Cheryl, you have a highly individual interpretation of what constitutes "reasoning" (to put it mildly) if you think this "question" qualifies. And you'll have to do better than blanket abuse of anyone who happens to disagree with you.

Actually I think that Israel should give back* Israel to the Palestinians. However, since Israel never did that before they are waiting for American to be returned to the Native Americans and England to the Anglos etc. When the Gazens sent over the rockets to Israel they were just trying to help Israel, when Israel retaliated the Gazens didn't know what to do. Even though Gaza turned out to be a disaster I think that the Palestinians should be gven a 3rd, 4th (oops, I lost track) chance. * Palestinians are a recent group of people who formed after Israel was.

No, I don't support blatand liars and I never trust the kikes, Avi. You should too, get some experience and you'll be able to understand that they are lying all the time. Just look at them using nazi words against my bro Obama. I watched a CBS documentary and there was a bunch of kikes calling names our Black President. They are the racist sc*m of the Earth. Biggots all of them.

Oh, Avi, you're trying to reason with people who are incapable of doing anything except hating mindlessly.

Am a European Muslim but dont agree with Hamas.. Both Isreal and Hamas are both idiots. Isreal who had took Palestine because of World war 2. Hamas who is sucide Bombing.... I think Isreal should give back land, but The Palestinan Government: Hamas should be cancelled. So both can live in peace.. And Jerusalem should be divided ethnically, and the other Ethnic cannot go over to the other

A Palestinian identity did not exist until an opposing force created it -- primarily anti-Zionism. Opposition to a non-Muslim nationalism on what local Arabs, and the entire Arab world, view as their own turf, was the only expression of 'Palestinian peoplehood.' The Grand Mufti Hajj Amin al-Husseini, a charismatic religious leader and radical anti-Zionist was the moving force behind opposition to Jewish immigration in the 1920s and 1930s. The two-pronged approach of the "Diplomacy of Rejection" (of Zionism) and the violence the Mufti incited occurred at the same time Lebanon, Syria, Transjordan and Iraq became countries in the post-Ottoman reshuffling of territories established by the British and the French under the League of Nation's mandate system. The tiny educated class among the Arabs of Palestine was more politically aware than the rest of Arab society, with the inklings of a separate national identity. However, for decades, the primary frame of reference for most local Arabs was the clan or tribe, religion and sect, and village of origin. If Arabs in Palestine defined themselves politically, it was as "southern Syrians." Under Ottoman rule, Syria referred to a region much larger than the Syrian Arab Republic of today, with borders established by France and England in 1920. .

Does anyone know a website where I could find a summer job with housing

Does anyone know a website where I could find a summer job with housing?
I'm an 18 year old American living in Monaco but studying in Canada in a high school. I would like to work in Usa this summer but the problem is that most of the jobs proposed asked to be in a accredited university program or do not offer housing. Any help please? Thank you in advance.

What kind of work do you want to do? Summer camps provide accommodation and meals and if you don't want to be a counsellor there is always office and support staff required.

i went for a job in a shoe shop once and they asked me how i would handle the following situation: 1. You are in the shop by yourself and are serving a customer 2. Another customer enters the store 3. A delivery of stock arrives and you need to accept it 4. The phone is ringing They ask you what you qualities you can bring to the business, why you want to work there (and your best option is NOT to say because you need the money, go with some thing like, you love the brand).

Know the details of any store credit card/customer loyalty program cold. Managers want to see that you are interested enough in the store that you're familiar with it and also that you could sell/explain it to a customer. Be able to talk about customer service experience - even if all you have is a volunteer position at the library, spin it. Dress, look, and act the part. You need to be someone that customers can relate to, so show it (in a very professional manner). Make sure you stress your responsibility, especially if your resume is not very upfront about it. Even if you're not the best salesperson out there people will hire you if they're sure you'll show up to work. If you can demonstrate that you are mature, responsible, friendly, and relateable a manager will be willing to hire you even without experience. Training a sales associate isn't that difficult so while experience may be preferred it's certainly not necessary for those kinds of jobs. Also realize that with the economy the way it is, people are applying for associates positions when they are much more qualified for management, etc. It's quite possible that you'll get a job, but if you don't it may not be because you did something "wrong" - it's just a very, very competitive market right now.
