Having been there myself, I would imagine most of the inhabitants are very rich, as shown by the exclusive shops and expensive cars and high-class appartments. Anyone who works in shops or restaurants probably commutes from neighbouring towns in France as they couldn't afford to live there themselves. It's a funny "country" : a city state with very limited diplomatic representation abroad. I believe there's some sort of rule which says that if the Monegasque royal family can't produce a male heir, the place reverts to French control. It's a tax haven and you'll find lots of the very rich of this world living there to avoid paying their taxes in whatever country they're originally from. If you go there, you may find that it feels slightly "surreal" : a place where people go who have something to hide. Anyhow, you might find the following link interesting in terms of further information: http://www.gouv.mc/devwww/wwwnew.nsf/HomeGb

How do i replace my Headlight bulbs on a 1990 Renault 5 Monaco

How do i replace my Headlight bulbs on a 1990 Renault 5 Monaco?
I have the bulbs but dont really know where to start when replacing them. At the minute they only work on "dimmed" and "Full Beam" (very bright) so want to get this sorted sooner rather than later Thanks in advance to all that answer Yeah beginning to think its the relay rather than the bulbs, i will take to a garage and get it checked over. Thank you

Is what you mean that the headlight sometimes only work for low beam and sometimes high beam only? If yes, the bulb is not the issue. Please check the headlight wire connection, a loosen is the cause. If the wire is fine, the headlight relay is the cause, the relay can't switch the power to the low beam or high beam, a relay replacement is needed. To replace the bulb, turn the bulb cover on the backside of the headlight to 1/4 turn anticlockwise, turn the "wing" cover and you can feel it has released, then pull out the bulb. Never, never, and never touch the bulb glass, a dirt or oil on the surface glass can make extra heat on the bulb and make bulb broken. Use something to cover your touch. Do the release step in backward to install the bulb, watch to notch to insert the bulb.

Fashionable people, what do you think about Club Monaco

Fashionable people, what do you think about Club Monaco?
I'm a huge fan of Ralph Lauren(mostly collect it and wear most times once or twice from every collection/season) and wear Banana Republic quite often to work. I've been checking out Club Monaco and the clothes seem to be pretty cool good looking, plus I know they are made by Ralph Lauren so quality has to be pretty good as well. So what are your opinions on it and store in general???

If it's made by Ralph Lauren, it's definitely well made. But, the brand has a slightly different vibe than Ralph Lauren (classic as opposed to preppy). If you like it, I suggest you go for it.

how exactly does tax mitigation/avoidance work if you change residency to another country

how exactly does tax mitigation/avoidance work if you change residency to another country?
it seems quite vague to me. for example i live and i'm a citizen in the philippines then i transfer residency to monaco which is a tax haven, how and what "tax rules" apply and can they still tax me even if i already reside in monaco? @ghostofzeus_so if i understand correctly, i must first find out if my country do tax worldwide income of citizens and then i might just lessen my tax burden if i transfer residency?

Many countries tax residents on their worldwide income. Therefore, if you are not resident of country A, then you might diminish your tax liability to country A even though you are a citizen of country A. With respect to Monaco, residents of Monaco are taxed on a maximum income of approximately 80,000 euros -- about 25,000 euros in tax. That is all they pay. To obtain residency in Monaco a person needs to be a high net worth individual (i.e, at least million euros ... 3 million euros is probably needed to live well in Monaco). You have to purchase or lease real estate. The minimum monthly rent is about 4,000 euros and you will pay a 10% VAT on the rent. If you purchase, you will pay a nearly 20% transfer tax on the value of the property at the time of purchase.

If you do not know what you are doing, it does not work at all. If you are a U.S. citizen, it does not work at all. The U.S. taxes its citizens at the same rate regardless of where they work or live.
