What does it feel to be a heir / heiress?? Who's the most impressive one in your opinion

What does it feel to be a heir / heiress?? Who's the most impressive one in your opinion?
I am surprised at how most of them never work... ok i understand they don't need to work but how can someone be so selfish. If they have so much money, at least let them do some good. Work in charity or something. Yesterday I asked the question "what would you do if you had a billion dollars" and I can't say I was surprised, but many people just said they would continue living like they do + buy all the stuff they want and most importantly, they said they would help out the more needy and help our their families. I would do the same, but I would never stop working, no matter how much money I had. Like I'd work a bit less than I do now but I won't stop. Anyway, how can all these heirs and heiress never do s****, like Paris Hilton and her sis and whatnot. I don't know why, but I love reading about these people and about royalty. It's sooo cool to read all their stories. I love Charlotte de Monaco a lot. I think she's the best "rich kid". Who's your favorite? Lol, probably most of you have never even thought of that question but whatever, just asking.

How would one know unless you were one. They're no better than the rest of us

They are just people who have inherited vast amounts of wealth simply by being born into it. I think nothing special of them. I admire people like Bill gates who earned his own fortune not bratty, little rich kids.

Paris f/ucking Hilton! JK JK JK! but that's the only one i can think of!

paris hilton :)

I can't say that I have a favorite heir or heiress. I can't stand Paris Hilton, someone who has spent a fortune of her own money to attempt to be famous. She probably spends more that she actually makes. Now, if she was quiet, like William, the man who will eventually become King of England one day, that would be different. Instead, she hobnobs with people you and I wouldn't dream of wanting the opportunity to meet. I guess Charlotte de Monaco is a "good girl" but you have to remember that tragedy has hit that family many times. Hopefully, she will keep her nose clean.

Kimi on track to get second World Championship

Kimi on track to get second World Championship?
Sure, looks like it 4 races into the season. The Ferrari F2008 is an amazing machine full of innovation and speed. It's a bullet-proof machine after Australia. And Raikkonen seems to be going with the flow. I think he would have done the same last year as well if the F2007 did not have any reliability problems. Ferrari is on course to get Constructors as well. I hate to say our McLaren dream is over. McLaren must improve and match the pace. We still got our McLaren tracks: Monaco, Singapore, Valencia, Monza and Canada. But McLaren must improve really and work more with getting the proper setups during practice. Ah I feel pretty bad. I almost shed a tear on Sunday after seeing Heikki's crash. Only the 3rd place podium by Lewis was a bit comfort for me. And the next track in Turkey will be another Ferrari win for sure. What do you all think?

Hope so ! He deserves it more than any man in that field right now. He potentially could hve won two titles whilst with McLaren, were it not for the unreliability of the car when he was driving for them. Go Kimi go! EDIT: Why certainly you can Dawg.

Ferrari have the better all round car by the looks of it, I also think Mclaren should have a more experienced driver in their line up, ( De La Rosa not included) as though Lewis and Hekki are quick, they cant be much help car development wise, I feel if Mclaren are under the very real threat of ending up 3rd in the constructors championship.......
3 :
i believe that this was supposed to be his 3rd championship but i think he never got those 2 was because of reality problems with mclaren and i think alonso beating him. ( someone correct me if i am wrong please =) ) but he will get it this year's championship =) i am postive =) thought it last year and this year as well =) he has the pace and is on target to =)

It looks good for ferrari but i still think it's too early in the season to tell. Kimi's main advantage over Lewis is his experience in having battled drivers like MS, JPM and others from a few years ago. Even if Lewis could match his pace he can't beat Kimi.

As things stand McLaren will face stiff opposition from Ferrari even at the so called McLaren tracks. Turning things around won't be easy,in fact very unlikely. Lot's of things can happen but until they happen it's Kimi all the way.

Tilly - Can I copy and paste your answer??? Please! Edit: Thank you kindly! Hope so ! He deserves it more than any man in that field right now. He potentially could hve won two titles whilst with McLaren, were it not for the unreliability of the car when he was driving for them. Go Kimi go!

Frankly, Kimi is so laid back its like he's taking a long bath instead of cornering at 180mph. I find it slightly annoying that he makes things look TOO easy sometimes but, that is what Finns are like. I think its too early to be making bold statements like that, we are one race into the European season and a heck of a lot can happen. I said after he got the title last year that that wasnt how to win a championship. It was as though the popped up at the last race and nicked it. I would dearly love to see him kick @ss every race and run the Ferrari ragged and put in a performance befitting of a World Champion, not a lights to flag victory where he is untouched.
8 :
Why not? If he keeps winning races, scoring points consistently he should be double World Champion. And he's got the right attitude. He's doing really well right now and I hope he will keep this up. But I'd still keep and eye out for the BMWs, McLarens and Renault.

kimi's da man!!!
10 :
Yeah. Looks like it. I think he will win, but i want hamilton to win. I dont think hamilton will win this year, last year was his BEST chance, and he will never get it again. Too many people like Robert Kubica, Heki Kovalinen, Massa, Raikonen, improving.

OLD POLICE CARS IN ACTION

OLD POLICE CARS IN ACTION?
Say, if you are a police officer and you have for example a 1974 Dodge Monaco, with the stripes of your city's PD still on it. Would it be legal to work in and also could you drive it around? I hope you understand, cheers. (It does not have to be a Monaco, I am just meaning an old police car (pre 1980's)

For liability reasons, you can only drive a city owned vehicle. There would be too many legal issues if you got in an accident. If the car broke down, there would be issues on who would pay to get it fixed, or worse yet... legal issues if you didn't make it to a priority call because of car failure.
2 :
Tropper is right except for one option. If an officer restored a vehicle (its done all the time BTW) and has a written agreement with the city/county s/he may drive said vehicle is community events like parades, copshop events, BBQs and the like. As a regular patrol vehicle, nope.
3 :
They could most likely drive it around as a personal vehicle. As long as they are not using the siren or taking actions that would make people think they are an on duty police officer. There are people who drive around i old police cars all the time, some that even have sirens on top. Most of them are wanna be cops who cause a lot of problems but many times what they are doing is legal in the State of Washington.

Being a Singaporean,I'd to move to US.

Being a Singaporean,I'd to move to US.?
I've reading all countries that I wish to move to. I list 10 possibility of countries I'd to move. I choose US, GBR, LUX and Monaco. But, I'd to ask about how does US immigration work. I know, in Singapore its compulsary to serve National Service. Is there anyway that I can apply US citizenship before serving NS? And, can I move to US before NS? And how does US green card work? I did a little research and I know, I have to pay a sum to get the PR. How about studying in the states? And after that live in USA? By the way, I have to serve in the Singapore NS first before I can live in US, and no, I am not going to serve US Army.

America does NOT have compulsory NS. You cannot apply for citizenship until 3 years after your permanent green card. You need a visa first. Then apply for a Green Card. You can, however, serve in our armed forces voluntarily. Georgie has a place reserved for you in Afganistan!!
2 :
Your options are: 1) Marry a US citizen 2) Get a job offer from a US employer and have them apply for a visa 3) Diversity lottery Once you have a work visa, you can then apply for a green card (permanent residency), unless you marry an American, then you go directly to green card. You do not "pay" for a green card, but there are application fees. You will probably need to serve your NS in Singapore first.
