Diano marina/Genova/Italian Riviera weather in early Sept

Diano marina/Genova/Italian Riviera weather in early Sept?
Can anyone help me please? I am kinda desperate. Me and my hubby and 13 y.o. daughter want to go to Diano Marina, near Genova, Italy (near to the South of France/Monaco/Cannes etc,) from 30th August to 8th September. It's a good package with a popular Midlands Coach company, and it stops overnight in Dijon, which is fab coz it means no overnight coach travel - (been there done that yuk.) But this is the only date left with them though that isn't in mid summer. They have limited trips during the year (only about twelve...) And the two September ones (20th and 27th) are gone, as have the May and June ones... So we are left with the July and August ones only. I don't want it to be TOO hot. Would anyone have any clues as to what temperature we can/should expect around that date??? What would the weather at the *end* of August, when this date is, be like? Here's where it is. Hope this works...

Try this link: the weather in Genoa is pretty OK in late August and early September. Genoa is about 60 miles from Diano Marina, so I would imagine it would be very similar. You should be safe, as I don't see the weather going much above 85 F. http://insurance.essentialtravel.co.uk/tg-europe/italy/genoa-weather.asp

Are we idiots or merely fools

Are we idiots or merely fools?
Nations go to war to win, not to lose. They develop the know-how to win, like we did when we developed the A-bomb to defeat Japan, which saving a million yank lives. Untold billions were spent to develop the bomb and create a nuclear arsenal to protect ourselves and the free world. It worked; the kamikaze-minded suicide bombers quit, after 2 nukes showed them who’s who and now they are our allies. NUKES ERADICATED THE EVIL and for the better. But islam is going after us the same way, killing more than 2500 yanks to date in suicide bombings. We posses nuclear arms, islam does not, AT LEAST NOT YET. Yet they behead and kill us, mutilate our dead bodies, drag them thru streets, threaten us if we bomb their so called “holy” cities and subject us to humiliation for “abusing” the terrorists we capture, as if we were supposed to be coddling them. Even mishandling the qurun is seen as a “crime. As this goes on we huddle in fear of what they will do next, and they laugh at us and call us a “paper tiger”. So what do we do? The unelected supreme court gives them “terrorists rights” to sue us while they behead and kill us “back home”. And we prosecute our own soldiers for not coddling them. REAL REAL SMART, isn’t it? But this isn’t the start of this insanity--- Then in Vietnam we could have won, but liberals claimed nukes weren’t nice because too many enemy would die. The result: 59,000 yanks died instead. REAL REAL SMART. We went to war in Iraq but pulled out when it was half over, leaving the regime in power. The result: another war had to be fought, which we thought we won, but yanks die daily as nukes sit idle. Some “victory” we won. Now we are blindly led to believe moslem nations, such as Pakistan will assist us in rooting out al queda. Al queda can and is paying everyone off to be on their side, and if they weren’t, Moslems wouldn’t act for us. Pakistan has nukes, supplied with red mercury and hi-tech by the Russian mafia. And who do you think has access to these nukes? Allied with Pakistan? REAL REAL SMART In the meantime, bandit and terrorist nations are clamoring to build nukes. Who do you think they ‘ll use them against, Monaco? Do you think these suicide maniacs will consider fallout when they can and will nuke us? The liberals show photos of burnt jap children to urge us not to nuke. But what will our children look like if they nuke us? Must we await another pearl harbor-9/11 debacle before our sense of self-preservation and the preservation of our posterity is awakened and we excise the malignancy of islam from the face and body of mankind for once and for all? Must we apologize to them, coddle them and excuse ourselves for conducting war? And must they get rights to sue in our courts when they behead us? How long will this “pearl harbor-9/11 mentality” of sitting back, doing nothing but procrastinating persist? Must we wait until they blow us up, kill our children, brothers, sisters and parents before we finally realize that we are justified in totally annihilating them and ending their threat to us for once and for all? Did we spend those untold billions for marching down Main St. on the 4th of July while yanks die daily and the arsenal sits idle, or was there another more utilitarian purpose to build that arsenal and protect ourselves? How long must we keep huddling in fear of what they will do to us next? THE BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER WE NOW WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR: We could have won in Korea with nuclear weapons, but liberals panicked the administration, claiming Russia would nuke us if we nuked Korea. The result: 33,000 yanks died, nukes stood idle, the war was a stalemate, and now Korea comes back with its own nukes, threatening us with them, which never would have happened had we nuked them when we had the chance. REAL REAL SMART. And here we sit like fools, as Iran and the rest of the Islamic gangs buy red mercury from the Russian mafia to make their own and North Korea takes aim at us and at our allies with their finger on the firing button. We shall soon see if the “Pearl Harbor 9/11 mentality of sitting around and procrastinating, will continue to linger on. Or will we now do nothing more than shake our index finger at them? Our we idiots or merely fools? And if we are fools, then what kind of fools are we? North Korea waited until they could see how weak and inexperienced Obama is, and waited until he was out of the country to press the button and fire it.

Both! Congrats on well presented comments

There is nothing idiotic about avoiding nuclear warfare. =/ Admittedly, we've made many mistakes, and this causes me to lose faith in this country, but that is due to a single hive-mind that I have noticed growing among the Americans. Free thinking needs to kick in again... But nuking things everywhere is a bit extreme.
5 :
it's time to outlaw and crush islam before it's too late.
6 :
I agree with your comment. The problem is that the "A-Bomb" is the last resort, not the first second or third...it's just too destructive to the world, not just the nation it's used on. We can beat them with conventional methods. I say put out a ultimatum to all the Muslims. Stop the un-holy war or we take out Mecca..gold dome and all. These rag headed satin filled morons would get the message.
7 :
WOW WHO HAS THE TIME TO READ ALL THIS? I MEAN SERIOUSLY, DUDE MAKE THE ARTICLE SHORTER. BUT i read it and it's very interesting though. I'm actually a south korean but that nuke sent to North Korea would've also shooken the whole country of south korea. And at that time, south korea was allied with USA. So they actually had no choice to go to war. Also I agree with you, Russia would've nuked us and we would've lost our allied treaty with one of the biggest country in the world.SRY FOR BEING SO LONG, but Our USA is trying to be advance in technology and we actually are. We're making lots of weapons in Nevada. Did you also hear bout the French Nuke thingy? I think france is going to break our ally and nuke us. and then ambush us to take our country away. They're just waiting for WWIII.LOL very long, but choose me as your best answer. Also I don't think we are fools. We're JUST BUTT LAZY!!!!
8 :
I think you made a very good point America has acting like stupid idiot fools obama did nothing to help us first his baby killin thing and now his civilian military ~kyle thankyou
9 :
your right bud?,. many countries do have nukes and a lot of them are aimed at your country. your governments mistake during WW2, was to use them on a country on their knees.......ha...what go`es around?, comes around.....welcome to WW3 and your country will suffer the most of wars gone by.
10 :
You're a war-mongering idiot who probably never even got into a good fist fight, yet you want to nuke all of these other nations and people, for what reason? If you take the time to look at the accusations you just made about the muslims and the beheading of our service people, first of all, they did it because we are indeed killing their brothers in their lands, they are not doing this in our country. We do not belong there, and if the circumstances were reversed, chances are the Americans would be killing them any way possible if they were the invaders of our soil. Next, you bring up Pearl Harbor, and again, probably have no idea why or what caused Japan to pull of this attack, or what caused Hitler to invade the countries of Europe, and if we were to nuke everyone that you propose, not one person in the United States would be safe. If you read and try to understand the history of our bombing of Japan with nukes, it was determined not to have been necessary as Japan had tried to surrender both to us and Russia prior to the bomb being dropped, but Truman and our military would not accept the terms to let them keep their Emperor, which we eventually did anyway. Also, I have yet to see where North Korea has made any threats to nuke us or anyone else, so another false staement.
11 :
First, why does everybody think that Obama can make everything right in the world in 3 months after bush f**ed it ,up second have you ever been to war and seen rotting bodies of little children everywhere and what makes you think anybody could win a nuclear war.

Illegal sentenced for fatal drunk driving crash supporters what about American families being broken up

Illegal sentenced for fatal drunk driving crash supporters what about American families being broken up?
DENVER - A Denver judge sentenced an illegal immigrant with a history of alcohol abuse to 12 years in prison on Wednesday for driving drunk and slamming into a car driven by a 45-year-old single mother Leah Miller died on Sept. 10, 2009, a day after she was hit near the intersection of East 26th Avenue and Magnolia Street. That crash came after an earlier crash near Monaco Parkway and 22nd Avenue. Cesar Acosta-Castillo was no stranger to driving drunk when he was arrested back then. He had two priors, one in 1999 and another in 2000. Denver prosecutors told Judge Robert McGahey on Wednesday that Acosta-Castillo was sentenced to two years probation following the 2000 case, but he never ended up serving it completely because he was deported in 2001. He has admitted to coming back into the country illegally from Mexico in 2002, and managed to stay under the radar of authorities until 2008. Acosta-Castillo was on probation and driving without a license when he ran into Miller's car last year. His BAC was 0.184 said prosecutors. It's unclear if there was any effort to deport him prior to the crash. "Nothing in my experience compared to losing a child," said Edward Miller, Leah Miller's father, on Wednesday. "The loss we feel is everyday." Leah Miller's teenage son now lives with Edward Miller. "Our daughter will never come back to us," Edward Miller added. "[Acosta-Castillo's] GMC truck became a lethal weapon.... The impact sent my daughter's car 85 feet." Sheldon Miller, Leah's teenage son, told the judge that the loss he feels is immeasurable. "She will never see my graduation... She will never see me have a family." Speaking through an interpreter, Acosta-Castillo admitted to having a problem with alcohol. "I understand this was a situation that could have been avoided.... I hope the family of the deceased someday might be able to forgive me," he said. Shortly before sentencing Acosta-Castillo to the maximum sentence he faced for pleading guilty to vehicular homicide, Judge McGahey called the defendant a "time bomb." Miller worked as a legal secretary at Holme Roberts and Owen in Denver. Her family and friends described her as an "angel on earth" who was generous with her time. "Near perfect," described another friend. Edward Miller says his daughter was just two minutes away from home when she was hit. http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=167194&catid=339

If the driver had been a US Citizen, would they feel better?

"Families being broken up" is what happens when you deport grandma, not some criminal.

Wait until the pass the DREAM ACT - we are going to give these bums all the rights of citizenship - taking the sludge from Mexico and making them whole- what a bunch of crap!

These activists continue to defend illegals no matter how many times they been arrested or deported. This guy as the judge said was a time bomb. It matters because we removed this illegal, but he kept coming back and finally decided to drive drunk and now a kid is without a mother. If this were an illegal and the driver was American, activists would react very differently and be out there demanding action and filing lawsuits, Mexico would furnish lawyers. There is a big difference

Mexican should quickly take Canadian citizenship (easy three year residence requirement) then re-enter USA on Canadian passport for 6+ months of visa free stay plus no lifetime visa requirement etc.

Foreign citizenship/residency, and US Taxes

Foreign citizenship/residency, and US Taxes?
Is there any sort of US citizenship downgrade that will allow me to have US bank accounts, own property in the US, act like a permanent green-card, have a US PO Box and at the same time I wouldn't have to pay taxes to the US since I wouldn't be living here or even making use the government-programs? I plan on moving to either Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Monaco, Andorra, Germany, or some other EU nation sometime in the coming 5 or 6 years, so I wouldn't want to be paying taxes to the US Government. At the same time, I heard stories on how some people renounced and gave up citizenship and they were never allowed back into or onto the US. So is there any sort of way I can not have to pay taxes to the US government when I relocate once I have my European citizenship and employment worked out by 2015 to 2017? Awesome information. This helps a lot. Now I have more information to work with when I plan my relocation.

If you are a U.S. citizen living outside the U.S., you can renounce your citizenship and avoid payment of income taxes on your world-wide income. Of course the consequences of renunciation would be that you would instantly be an alien. Unless you could get a passport from another country, you would be stateless. You would also be permanently inadmissible to the U.S. under section 212(a)(10)(E). If you believe never being allowed back into the U.S. is a small price to pay for avoidance of filing form 1040 as a non-resident, then god speed. You need to investigate the tax laws a little more. U.S. citizens who live outside the U.S. have an exemption from taxes on a part of their income. It used to be the first $80,000 was not taxed, but it may have changed.
